Job Description

Purpose of the role

To support Wholesale Onboarding with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution. 

Accountabilities

  • Support with day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding initiatives including KYC processing, reviewing (which can include Quality Checking), reporting, trading and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration and engagement with clients/front office to gather Customer Due Diligence information/evidence in order to onboard or refresh a clients KYC in line with documented policy.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Onboarding processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Onboarding processes.
  • Development and implementation of Wholesale Onboarding procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Onboarding performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Onboarding.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.

Join Barclays as a IBK Onboarding Support Team, AVP, this role sits in a newly formed Client Deal Services team, fully embedded with the Front Office Investment Bank business, supporting client outreach, document collection, onboarding case coordination, and process optimization. You will cover Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) therefore product knowledge is equally as important as a previous onboarding experience. Support with day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding initiatives including KYC processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. As well as collaboration and engagement with clients/front office to gather Customer Due Diligence information/evidence in order to onboard or refresh a clients KYC in line with documented policy.

To be successful as a IBK Onboarding Support Team, AVP, you should have experience with:

  • Working with CIB clients, with good communication and internal and external stakeholder management skills

  • Understanding of banking products, Lev Fin, ECM, and DCM and services, client onboarding and lifecycle guidance processes coordinating teams across Front Office, Operations, Product, and support functions to drive highly detailed client journeys from initiation through to client readiness

  • Onboarding execution, deal coordination, and client readiness in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, guiding competing priorities while maintaining a robust focus on risk and structure

  • Organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to guide multiple workstreams simultaneously and ensure delivery against critical deal and client timelines

  • Driving continuous improvement and business change, partnering with global teams and third-party vendors to simplify processes and embed new ways of working to achieve business and operational outcomes

Some other highly valued skills may include:

This role is located in New York, NY.

Minimum Salary: $70,000

Maximum Salary: $ $135,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
