Job Description
The Fraud Systems Test Analyst provides operational and analytical support to fraud strategy, with a primary focus on system testing and issue resolution in partnership with vendors. This role is responsible for performing system testing and analysis, executing procedures and controls on owned systems, and ensuring all activities align with documented standards and established processes. Acting as the primary point of contact for testing activities and test-related issues, the analyst monitors, tracks, and coordinates defect resolution efforts with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring timely validation and closure of identified issues.
The role partners closely with stakeholders, team members, and management to resolve issues, improve processes, maintain strong operational controls, communicate system status, performance, and risks to support the bank’s fraud risk capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for fraud platform enhancements, integrations, and vendor-delivered changes.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and validation activities to ensure system changes meet business requirements and operational expectations.
Analyze testing results, identify defects or gaps, and partner with technology teams and vendors to investigate and resolve issues.
Support testing and validation activities related to third-party vendor implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
Maintain testing artifacts, test evidence, defect logs, and execution status within approved tracking tools, ensuring complete documentation and traceability of testing activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than three years of experience in testing, business analysis, fraud operations, risk management, technology support, or related disciplines
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional project teams
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience within financial services, banking, payments, fraud, risk, or authentication environments.
- Experience supporting fraud platforms such as FICO Falcon, Actimize, Pindrop, or similar decisioning and risk-management solutions.
- Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and system validation activities.
- Experience working with third-party vendors to support implementations, issue resolution, testing, and system enhancements.
- Experience documenting test cases, test evidence, defects, and operational procedures.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience using Jira or similar work management and defect-tracking tools
- Experience with SQL and the ability to query, analyze, and validate data in support of testing activities.
- Experience supporting system integrations, APIs, data feeds, or vendor-hosted applications.
-Knowledge of fraud detection, authentication, risk management, or customer verification technologies.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
