Equity Sales - Analyst (Taiwan)

As an Analyst in the Regional Asia Cash Equity Sales team, you will work in a dynamic trading floor environment in Taiwan, supporting senior team members in servicing institutional clients and handling daily tasks. 

You will collaborate with sales, research, and trading teams across Asia to provide comprehensive client coverage, with on-the-job training and the opportunity to build and manage your own client relationships. 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to effectively service clients.
  • Support senior sales in handling daily client requests and needs.
  • Proactively learn about research, corporate access, and sales products to better serve clients.
  • Communicate ideas and market intelligence to colleagues and clients frequently.
  • Build trust with colleagues and clients by understanding their needs and being responsive.
  • Comply with the firm’s code of conduct and adhere to legal and regulatory rules and policies.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Some knowledge of the Asia equities market and a curiosity about global markets.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate information and communicate concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with colleagues, clients, and management.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates creativity in problem-solving and seeks new ways of doing things.
  • Thrives under competitive pressures and remains focused on client needs.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or trading role.
