Job Description
The AI Business Analyst is part of the AI Team within Process Transformation and Automation (PTA) and supports AI-enabled business initiatives by partnering with the Discovery team, AI Team AI Solution Leads, and business lines to clarify needs, document requirements, and support solution readiness. This role focuses on business analysis, process understanding, requirements documentation, and readiness support for new or revised AI-enabled capabilities.
Job Description
- Partner with the Discovery team, AI Team AI Solution Leads, and business lines to clarify business needs, document requirements, and support readiness for AI-enabled solutions.
- Work with the Discovery team during process mapping, intake, and discovery activities by helping capture workflows, pain points, business objectives, missing information, requirements, dependencies, and impacts.
- Support requirements-gathering activities by preparing discussion materials, documenting functional requirements, confirming assumptions, organizing follow-ups, and identifying gaps or inconsistencies before solution design.
- Develop and maintain business analysis artifacts, including requirements documentation, business impact summaries, decision notes, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and readiness materials.
- Prepare and organize business context and requirements information to support effective handoffs from discovery into solution design, governance review, and delivery readiness activities coordinated by the appropriate project management resources.
- Help identify opportunities where AI-enabled capabilities may improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual effort, enhance decision support, or improve user experience.
- Maintain awareness of responsible AI, risk, control, privacy, security, and governance considerations and partner with AI Team governance resources to document relevant business context for appropriate governance review.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Five to eight years of direct experience in business analysis, business requirements, technology enablement, AI initiatives, systems support, or related functional application experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ability to analyze business needs, facilitate requirements discussions, support walkthrough sessions, prepare discussion materials, confer with business line stakeholders, document outcomes, and deliver clear verbal and written presentations.
- Working understanding of Agile, Kanban, testing, intake, and delivery processes, with the ability to participate effectively within those frameworks in a business analysis and enablement capacity.
- Ability to support test planning activities, review testing plans, help track test issues, and communicate test results and business impacts.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including AI applications, JIRA, Confluence, ADO, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of a business line or functional area, with the ability to understand workflows and identify AI enablement opportunities.
Additional Information
We offer a flexible schedule. On 2 days per week, we ask for availability during core hours 5pm–9pm Polish time (10am–2pm CST) to collaborate with US‑based teams.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
